This approval was for a mixed use development involving ground floor retail and office uses, including a drive-through facility, and two levels of apartments above.
The approved development is the first mixed use development of its kind in the local area. Approval was obtained for an additional storey and the establishment of retail uses within a non-retail zoning. A number of development issues were resolved through negotiation with Council and Main Roads including intersection design, residential amenity and building design.
